Distraction: Let Go or be Dragged

  I am very distracted today.   I cannot seem to focus on my writing that I came here to work on – all I want to do is sit here and people watch in this coffeehouse that has become my home every Saturday.   Doesn’t anyone date anymore?   I am on the brink of turning 42 years old and have been divorced for over a year and a half now. Normal.

Normality is conformity But what is normal?   This is all I can recall off the top of my head of a poem I wrote back in high school. Unfortunately, my poems and writings from those days are forever lost on a 5 1/4” floppy disk formatted to the classic Macintosh computers of the late 1980’s.
