Adventure in Bonaventure [photography]

  I took a mini-vacation this past week and went on a road trip down to the Charleston, SC area to visit family. While on this get-away, I decided to take a side trip to Savannah, Georgia to spend the first day of Spring wandering the beautiful Bonaventure Cemetery, made famous by the 1997 movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I was completely awestruck once entering inside the gates.   Beautiful just doesn’t even begin to explain the solemn splendor of this famous southern cemetery. Back Alley Blues [Tragic Beauty]

One of my all-time favorite photographers is the incredible Anton Corbijn. I’ve been a fan of his work since the 1980’s. He’s well-known for photographing musicians such as U2, Joy Division, Henry Rollins, Nirvana, Depeche Mode (my favorite!), as well as directing some of their music videos. Anton’s talent is amazing! The Girl Who Waited [Tragic Beauty]

I can remember watching the Sci-fi show Doctor Who on PBS as a child; it mesmerized and pulled me in, even if for only a few minutes at a time.
