Starry Night Sky [poetry]

 

Sliver of moon

In the twilight sky

So beautiful &

Ever mysterious

 

I am like the moon

In my heart

Hiding part of me

From the world

 

I long to be one of the stars

Up in the heavens

One day

Shimmering

Sparkling

Shining in the

Vast swirling paradise

Of the starry night sky
